Hi, I'm Ty, 49 years old caring for my 70 years old mom. She was diagnosed with severe vascular dementia earlier this year and gets cognitively worse almost daily. My dad, her husband is capable of taking care of her, but doesn't. So I moved her here with me, 4 hrs away. She was left alone too often with my dad. I work full time, but between myself, my brother, my son, and my husband, she is never alone. She perfers the company of myself or my brother though.
