Hello! I am the caregiver of my 78 year old father who is diagnosed with dementia.. we do not receive many visitors at all, but he loves watching television, looking at magazines and I enter into his room throughout the day and engage in small talk. There are senior centers and adult daycare within my community, but dad was never big on socializing when I was growing up.. I try to take him out for rides here and there whenever he is willing to get out of the house.. he used to do word searches but now really just enjoys magazines. I have a CNA that comes once a week who engages with him also. Hope this helps š
