A quote I like that I heard during a Zoom seminar sponsored by Duke almost three years ago now for caregivers is the following.
“Life is a sexually transmitted fatal illness.”
I will believe dementia maybe one of the most difficult ways to get to the end. But it seems like we don't get to choose, we just have to deal with it.

I love these quotes, Don. It's easy to get caught up in the frustrations of caregiving, and we can forget that our loved ones didn't choose this either. Very insightful!
