I am 58 and my husband is 65. He was diagnosed with young onset alzheimers at 59. He's pretty good still. I'd say he's at a moderate stage. I can work part time.
I struggle with the behavioral aspects of this disease.
We've been married for 11 years. His 1st marriage and has no children. His siblings and parents have all passed.
He's recently...like in the last 2 weeks declined.
I'm struggling emotionally right now and this support group sounds right up my alley.
It's good to be with a group of people with similar situations.

Hello,
I am in a similar situation. My husband of 43 years is in the progress of getting an official diagnosis. We have not yet seen the neurologist for further testing. That has been one of my frustrations, the length of time for medical services. I, too, find the behaviors challenging.
