Won't have money for Memory Care until Mother's house is sold

Has anyone dealt with their parent needing to go into Memory Care, but there won't be any money for it until Parent's house is sold?

I am dreading how to go about getting my mother into Memory Care - what do we do with her during the time the house is getting sold/is sold, and then placing and paying for her Memory Care? Wondering if anyone else has gone through this and has some good ideas on how to deal with it.

I have a feeling it is all going to fall on me, and just thinking about it stresses me out.

While I haven't yet placed my husband, I have investigated the place where he will be going when the time comes. As to financing, if you haven't talked to an Eldercare Attorney, you really need to do that. They can explain what needs to be done and can go over the financing and offer advice on how to proceed.
